In honor of the NAVY vs. AIR FORCE Football Game this weekend, (Oct '08) a bunch of 2nd Class Midshipmen (Juniors) on the Service Academy Exchange Program from Annapolis to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs surfaced the USS BANCROFT (SSBN 643) on the grounds of the Air Force Academy as a prank. As the Zoomie Cadets woke up and walked to class, they were greeted with a reminder of the Submarine Force's ability to be anywhere anytime.
